От брака к разводу и обратно. Исследование постразводного поведения

Abstract

The article deals with the post-divorce behavior, a topic that became relevant in the mid-1970s. There are several trends in the study of this issue. There are several tendencies in studying of the matter. The first is related to the work of J. Bernard «The future of marriage» and concentrates on the gender specifics in the perception of a divorce. The second trend originates with the release of G. Becker's "The treatise on the family". The research in this direction is aimed at identifying the relationship between the probability of remarriage and the social status of partners. Another research focus is set by K.B. Hackstaff's book «Marriage in a culture of divorce». K.B. Hackstaff interprets divorce as "built in" marriage and as a new norm.
