Abstract
Автор обращается к теме нормативного основания социальной политики. Подобная тема требует пристального внимания к установкам, стремлениям и мотивациям агентов политики и широкой публики в объяснении и интерпретации изменений в социальной политике. В современных исследованиях этими сюжетами часто пренебрегают, предпочитая то, что считается более твердыми фактами — торговлю, показатели роста и демографию. Данная статья вносит вклад в разработку этой темы путем обсуждения сравнительного исследования установок населения западных стран. Вначале будут представлены общие аргументы в пользу сравнительного исследования установок и обсуждены некоторые методологические трудности подобного исследования. Затем на основании данных Программы международного социального опроса будет показано, как можно трактовать важную проблему современного сравнительного исследования социальной политики: обнаруживаются ли признаки конвергенции в западных политических экономиках.References
