Аннотация

Средства массовой информации во многом определяют наше понимание социальных проблем, в том числе и экологических. СМИ являются «публичными аренами», на которых идет борьба различных групп вокруг того, является ли та или иная ситуация проблемной, требующей решения, или нет. Фактор появления в СМИ интерпретации конфликтной ситуации теми или иными акторами серьезно влияет на их успех. Настоящая статья посвящена освещению конфликта вокруг проекта платной автотрассы Москва — Санкт-Петербург в местной прессе. Начавшаяся как локальный экологический конфликт, деятельность защитников Химкинского леса стала известна далеко за пределами города Химки. В статье предложен анализ местной прессы, нацеленный на понимание того, насколько местная пресса как «публичная арена» дает возможности различной интерпретации спорной ситуации различными акторами. При анализе текстов газет был использован анализ фреймов (диагностического и прогностического).
