Историческая метасоциология А.С. Лаппо-Данилевского
Аннотация
The article is devoted to the analysis of the sociological heritage of the Russian academician A. S. Lappo-Danilevsky (1863–1919), in which he sought to conceptually explain the vicissitudes of history, large-scale historical processes in the early XX century. The focus of his studies is the history of societies, States, people as a broad stream of historical events taking place in a particular socio-economic, political and cultural space. The driving force of Lappo-Danilevsky' oeuvre is to advance in understanding the nature of the social mechanisms of the historical process. Unlike his contemporaries, sociological analysis of the history of Lappo-Danilevsky gives a metasociological picture of history as a topology of the social process, as a stable but mobile historical prototype (chronotope) of Russian society. The scientist's approach to sociology can be qualified as historical metasociology. Lappo-Danilevsky turned to the development of theoretical issues of historical science and the connection of history with other scientific disciplines. He called his approach the methodology of history, considering it in a broad sense as a theory of historical identification or historical epistemology. At the same time, based on the methodology of history, Lappo-Danilevsky sought to formulate a theory of social sciences.
