Аннотация

Возрожденный «радикальный консерватизм», а также последние теории «палеоконсерватизма» и «новых правых» предлагают радикальную культурную критику глобального капитализма и либеральной демократии. Этот очерк связывает их реакционную клановость с текущей теоретической тенденцией ХХ столетия, «абсолютной критикой модерна», являющейся сплавом упрощенных идей Ницше и Вебера. Исторически абсолютная критика подталкивает к сближению правых и левых, «радикального консерватизма» и «твердого постмодернизма» и противоречит методу «историзма». Работа раскрывает опосредующую роль социальной теории в проблематичных отношениях между наукой и общественными сферами плюралистических демократических культур.
